The storm slowly pushes in,
\nThunder of despair, lightning of sorrow,
\nRain of sadness, and wind of fear.
\nI sit, huddled in my shelter of hope,
\nas the storm grows in strength, I hope.
\nAs the rain pushes is way into the cracks, I hope.
\nThe thunder frightens me, and I hope.
\nI hope for sunny days, gentle breezes,
\nand beams of sunlight, I hope.
\nWith each crackle of lighting my hope grows,
\nand with the growing hope, my shelter strengthens.
\nHope is small, weak, almost invisible at first,
\nAs despair creeps though, hope explodes,
\nA beacon in the storm.<\/p>\n\n\n
